Goal of the Photo

With this photo I wanted to capture the pickup truck at the Rader Family Farms Sunflower Days event from a unique vantage point. This image shows the weathering of the trucks paint on the body and the truck bed.

Photo Analysis

This image contains many different textures from the weathered paint and rust on the truck and the dry straw of the hay bale to the contrasting softness of the white clouds. The blues, whites, turquoise coloring of the sky, blanket and truck paint, the rust on the bed of the truck, the tan of the straw and the accents of yellow from the sunflowers act as complementary colors to unify this photo.

Photo Post Processing

This image, like the other Rader Family Farms images in this group, was desaturated in color slightly. It also has a slight soft vignette effect around the edges to give it a rustic feel. Then the photo was brought into Adobe Photoshop CC software and the final addition of the Corcoran Studio logo was placed in the lower corner and the image was exported out at the desired final image screen size.
